Wanaque schools will be closed on Thursday, March 5th due to inclement weather
Please join us for our second parent training workshop highlighting the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), as well as offer a brief education experience for parents wishing to establish or re-establish control within the home. Educating parents on the principles and tactics of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an opportunity that will enhance the participants’ knowledge in identifying behavior and effectively determining the function of behavior. Additionally, participants will learn strategies on how to better manage problem behavior. For those who attended last year’s workshop, this opportunity will enhance those skills previously discussed. Please RSVP by calling Mrs. Huster or Mrs. Silvestri at 973-835-8200.
The Parent Training and Education workshop will begin promptly at 7:00PM on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Wanaque School Technology Room #42.
Please mark your calendars accordingly.
Wednesday, March 18th will now be a full day of school and Monday, February 23rd will be a single session day with a 1:16 p.m. dismissal.
Welcome to the Wanaque School District Website. We encourage parents and friends to log on daily to learn about what is happening in our school district.
Wanaque School District’s Mission Statement
The Wanaque Public School District, a unified community in partnership with students in grades PreK-8, parents, and staff, engages all students by providing an enriched academic and social foundation that fosters a love of learning, where all students achieve the New Jersey Common Core Standards at all grade levels, thereby creating informed citizens ready to meet the varying challenges of a rapidly changing world.
Recognizing and providing positive learning experiences necessary to foster the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of the individual child will accomplish this mission.
